Dear Reader:
I am pleased to announce a trip to Paris, Berlin and Stockholm on Sept. 24 – Oct. 1, 2016. For details, please go to http://europe.heritagestudyprograms.com/
Spending two days in each of these three capital cities, we will explore the swirl of issues surrounding immigration, Islam, Shari'a, partial no-go zones, European identity, and populist-elite tensions. We will focus on the changing face of these cities, contrasting and comparing them: What is the scope and nature of the immigration? How does it affect daily life and long-term prospects? What policy choices exist?
In addition to my analysis, you will hear throughout the trip from Muslims, activists, politicians, academics, religious leaders, and security officials. We will also devote a few hours in each city to conventional historic and cultural sites.

This is not a tour nor a mission but a fact-finding expedition loaded with information. Think of it as a semester of learning condensed to slightly over a week, packed with first-hand experiences.
I welcome you to an informative and enjoyable trip – the fourth I have led since 2012 – and hope you can join me. Travel will be in late-model tour buses and first-class hotels and restaurants, with convivial companions. Space is limited, please reserve early, either online (at https://www.gate1travel.com/groups/ceu1011333) or by telephone (at 800-355-9994), preferably by June 15.
Again, for more information, please see the expedition website.
Yours sincerely,
Daniel Pipes
