Is CNN International Really - ANN or the Arab News Network ??Reader comment on item: Is the Solution to Hire More Muslim Journalists? Submitted by Linda (United Kingdom), Mar 11, 2008 at 09:14 I always though Asieh Namdar was Indian. As far as CNN goes its international version is sometimes like watching ANN or the Arab News Network. First of all the countless - Arab advertisements - and the almost constant promotion of the show Inside the Middle East – over all others. When CNN programming goes over to the US version you know it's a completely different message at work. It is like CNN (International) is trying to force everyone to their view. Some years ago - CNN reporter Hala Gorani was inviting the International audience to go to Iran for vacation - shortly after the Iranians arrested a western husband and wife on boat cruise - off their coast - for spying! Some of the so call CNN multicultural views are not firmly based in reality. When CNN starts to excessively promote the Middle East - I simply change the channel and watch FOX news.
