CNN Int'l and BBC are de facto controlled by The House of Sod & FOX, well, I have some bad news ..Reader comment on item: Is the Solution to Hire More Muslim Journalists? Submitted by James Burke (Canada), Mar 12, 2008 at 07:18 Yes, Linda, CNN Int'l and her british twin BBC World are nothing more than showcases for the House of So to con the the Int'l jetsetters and casual travelers who do not understand the tongues of the country they are in at the moment, that the world is OK and sleep tight. All the news is filtered through a 1) " do not say anything that will embarrass our MBA CPA CEO when on all fours in the House of Sod" attitude 2) "do not insult any left wing movement in South America, re: FARC, Hugo Chavez, Castro, Sendero Luminoso, because we are upper middle class and we are guilty attitude 3) " anything that will make Pres. Bush (US) or Pres. Uribe ( Colombia) or Likud Party ( Israel) look good, say it once but do not repeat it" attitude Thus, - The Beslan School attack when children were shot in the back, was a tragedy, - The massacre in Jerusalem last week was normal (Ben Wederman of CNN), - Islamist terrorists are "militants" or gunmen or assailants or INSURGENTS be they in Iraq or Malaysia - the FARC are rebels and on and on and on... FOX is owned by 18% by a Saudi Prince. This Percentage will surely increase over time thanks to the slide of Saudi $$$$ into the pockets of American 1) academics, professors, 2) diplomats, 3) journalists, 4) ex-presidents, soon to be ex-presidents, 5) ex Secretary of States, ( ie, Colin " vroom vrooom" aka "fast cat" Powell), soon to be ex-Secretary of States & of course ex-Vice Presidents and soon to be ex-Vice Presidents. FOX has changed greatly from a vociferous Sept 11,2001 9:00 PM "let's carpet bomb them" attitude to an attitude far less to the left than CNN. ex) Bill O'Reilly only praises Connie Rice. G_d knows why. She has to be the most pro-palestinian in the White House Admin. Does The Leprechaun also want a shiny new jag from the House of Sod? ex) Has Dr. Pipes ever been on FOX? How many times? When was the last time? When was the last time Michael Savage has been a guest on Bill O'Reilly? I do not agree with Dr. Pipes re: "moderate muslims" must be a part of the war on terror but without Dr. Pipes on our side, we are finished. Butto be fair, let's not forget Dubai who are up and comers in the world of soveriegn funds. The two countries now control ( either de facto or de jure Citibank, HSBC, Deutche Bank, various plastic companies purchased from American,French, British or German multis) CNN Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
