Islam has a secret agenda and a declared one

In Islam, a Muslim's duty is to wage a holy war to spread Islam. Non Muslims either accept Islam or get killed. One rule for Christians and Jews if they live under Islam is they have to accept subjugation and treatment as second class citizens. They do not share in power and are burdened by paying heavy tax (overtly or covertly). There is no equality between Muslims and Non-Muslims under Islam. Islam does not even believe in democracy but believes in "Shura" (legal opinion of group of high ranking theologians) Non-Muslims have no role in "Shura".

The Quran allows Muslims to have a declared agenda and a secret agenda (of Jihad, slaughter and mayhem) during time of weakness, this licence is called "Taqiah".

The older verses of Quran of tolerance towards other religions have been abrogated by the later verses in for example surah El- Tauba "Surah 9", this is known to most Muslims but denied by them according to "Taqiah".
