CAIR's deliberate misinformation is called "taqiyya"Reader comment on item: CAIR's Hate Crimes Nonsense Submitted by A.A (United States), May 18, 2005 at 19:55 The fact is that not only CAIR but the whole fundamentalist islamic religious hierarchy practices islamic rule of "taqiyya" or deceit. According to taqiyya Islam allows misinformation and deceit if it helps islam and muslims. Preachers and religious leaders practice it daily by only quoting the hadiths about the prophet and quranic ayas which are good and never quoting the ones which gives bad impression. In my 50 years of being a muslim, I never heard any religious leader quote any of the the following (and many such) hadiths. . Sunan Abu -Dawud,4390 "Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
The Prophet had their warriors killed, their offspring and woman taken as captives. Safiya was amongst the captives, She first came in the share of Dahya Alkali but later on she belonged to the Prophet . Sahih Bukhari Vol 3, Bk 46 No. 717
Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri: Sahih Bukhari, Vol 4, Bk 52 Number220 "Allah's Apostle said, ‘I have been made victorious with terror.'" Hiding these hadiths from muslims and non muslims is called "taqiyya".That is what is practised by CAIR when they hide or deliberately misinform. Daniel Pipes replies: Taqiyya is a Shi`i concept and involves self-preservation; it is not a general Islamic justification of lying. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (48) on this item
