Confirming my argument in "Al-Qaeda's Limits", the Christian Science Monitor published a story today that does two things: (1) Looks at the specific case of one Sayed Abdul Malike, an Afghan immigrant who confided to an informant that he wanted to buy enough explosives to blow up "a mountain." (2) Concludes that a "lone-wolf terrorist sympathizer" like he appears to be "can be just as dangerous and elusive as a hard line terror cell," such as those connected to Al-Qaeda. (May 27, 2003)
