Behind Daniel Pipes

I am a non-partisan, middle of the ideological roader and am a big Daniel Pipes fan. The man "tells it like it is," which given the refusal of our mainstream media, our president, and our other elected leaders to open up debate on the undisputed ills of Islam and mass immigration to the U.S., is desperately needed. Mr. Pipes, if anything, goes pretty easy on Muslims. For example, I do not subscribe to his distinction between Islamists and "mainstream" Islam, and I think he lets a lot of Muslims off the hook. But he is intelligent, truthful, and I have great respect for him. Good for President Bush for appointing him. Pipes is the right man for the job.
