Qui non proficit deficit, Mr. MoReader comment on item: Combatting the Ideology behind Islamist Terrorism Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Sep 25, 2007 at 16:29 Dear Mr. Mo, Quoting you : "we are not receiving any support from the Pipes of the world in eradicating these modern extremists." Observe Dr. Pipes' Bibliography, My Writtings on Moderate Muslims; specifically, "Bolstering Moderate Muslims", The New York Sun, 17 April 2007 (located at www.danielpipes.org) . Dr. Pipes is at the forefront of distinguishing between 'extremist' Muslims and moderate Muslims. Regarding your comment that Muslims were protecting and a haven for Jews for 1400 years (I would be interested in any documentation/ literature on THAT), and that Christian crusaders were masacering Muslims in the millions, I would suggest : if you're not progressing, you're regressing. Qui non proficit deficit. Which, when applied here, I would suggest to you, means stop resting on your laurels. "Ask not what the Pipes of the world can do for you, but what you can do for the world of Pipes." -JS
