Amazing, indeedReader comment on item: The Threat To Israel's Existence Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Oct 19, 2007 at 17:09 Thank you very much, Daniel Pipes, for making availiable this audio of your talk at the University. I initially feared listening, due to previous video of the few idiopathic imbecilic ignoramuses that attended. I need not have been concerned; you handled their atavism with astute aplomb, and I was rewarded with a facinating, informative, objective, accurate, wide-ranging illustration of the Israel - Palestinian - Islam war. "One can only make peace with one's former enemies." I agree. Palestinians will negotiate only insofar as it furthers their agenda to eliminate Israel. Provide utilities to those who bomb them? What other country does that? The recent conflict with Lebanon to my eyes was successful. Hezbolla was "crushed". Baby carriages cartoon - if I had attended the event, I would have liked to ask the "anti-Israel" crowd, why do the Palestinians, Hezbolla, and Hamas target Israel's civilians, and not their military? They would not be able to ask the same question of Israel. Thanks again to Daniel Pipes, and to whomever audio-taped the event. Stellar.
