Explaining Murder Rampage at Empire State BuildingReader comment on item: Explaining the Murder Rampage atop the Empire State Building Submitted by Barbara Paolucci (United States), Nov 4, 2007 at 14:48 Dear Mr. Pipes: You need to include the good ole USA in the same catagory as Mexico and all countries south of the border. It's been more than obvious to me that its business that runs American policy and that no one would get through the borders unless the Federal Government wanted that to happen - which it does. Why, because businessmen want cheaper labor - not just for agracultural purposes either. During the late 1970's/early 1980's there was a national poll that asked the question (I'm paraphrasing): Do you want immigration shut down for 10 years and the laws revised. Over 75% of those asked answered yes! Nothing has been done - the situation has gotten as bad as it can get. That same sentiment is true today when 2 amnesty bills failed to be passed. Problem is we, as a people, do not get riled up enough at each and every issue that Congress forces down our throats. Apathy is killing America. Barbara Paolucci
