"Something pandering and ignoble..."

Seemed quite diplomatic to me, given the circumstances. In addition to the Cairene public opinion factor that needs to be taken into account, who knows who's listening in on his phone or email? "Let's you and them fight" isn't the best attitude towards President Arnold's touchy situation.
