About What you wrote, Mr. JohnReader comment on item: "Dawah Kit for Mobile Phones" Submitted by Ynnatchkah (United States), Dec 8, 2007 at 11:08 1. I understand your tech view point and also value what you said, Sir. Indeed, you are right: The most active Islamists are the western educated Muslims. It was well noted that Bin Laden is an engineer. 2. A counter point of what you state is that Muslims advocate not using western technology/services/creation/products, to not feed the infidels' pocket and b/c as far as once I read, traditional Islam prohibits to do so, if I well recall. In addition to that, a good example of denial is when a couple of Islamic countries decided to abolish the doll Barbie, b/c it did not show the Islamic female as it should be, deviating as a result the Islamic girls mind against their faith (there is an article by Dr. Pipes speaking about). 3. However, when you state that Deedat is not really traditional Islam, or in this case Islamism, I disagree: believing myself that, that one named muhamad was an Islamist, not simply an Islamic creature. 4. Finally, I understood Doctor Pipes speaking about "a strangeness" when referring to Deedat itself, not the proliferation of its thoughts over the tech line as the main point- but perhaps, I'm wrong.
