"Religion of Peace"???Reader comment on item: Bush Returns to the "Religion of Peace" Formulation Submitted by Patricia Zentara (United States), Dec 30, 2007 at 20:22 . . The US government has not been honest in saying Islam is a religion of peace. . After 9/11~I cringed when I saw Bush even touching The Koran as if it were some dear text worthy of our honor. And having so many Muslims to the White House. . I have given up on all American politicians re:Islam. They seem to not know what it is all about. One would think that the sheer devastation of the Twin Towers and the death of so many on that day of horror would provide a clue. . The worst of it all~ is just let anyone of any faith say we have a vengeful G-d and they are put to shame for that. We cannot have it both ways. We think that we run the world and there is no Higher Power than our egos and political biases. . So if we are in charge of a world in chaos~there is no reason to be arrogant and pat ourselves on the back. PZ Lodi.California
