Reply to Muslimah - "Islam only asks for freedom"Reader comment on item: "A Jilbab in the School's Colors" Submitted by Rochelle Michaels (Canada), Feb 21, 2008 at 13:46 Muslimah...Is this true? "Islam only asks for freedom"? Please explain why Islamic countries hang devout Muslims who are homosexuals and stone devout Muslims who are rape victims. In the photo above, Shabina Begum, is safely bundled with only her face and hands exposed. Why was she not content to live in a free country that had school uniforms include the Muslim costume? Maybe...just maybe, this had nothing to do with what she wore, but more about having the free world submit to her lawyer who justified this nonsense by using the name of Allah. I hope the school doesn't give a teddy a name that might offend or eat a meal at their desks at a time that might offend. We all know what happens when those who USE the name of Allah are offended.
