All things New and Old; The Greatest Danger to the WestReader comment on item: Dreaming of Al-Andalus Submitted by David Sabghir (United States), Mar 4, 2008 at 13:52 With great dismay, I have read today's blog. From Mein Kampf to Andalusia, the degree of insanity in this world is rising with the price of OPEC oil. Can we be far from the apocalype when crude pressure is put on a Dutchman not to show a film and the expected riots that its' showing will generate. And still the insistence that all of this has nothing to do with the Koran, only a deficiency in the hardware or software of Moslem minds. Isn't it obvious that the biggest threat to humankind, bigger than nuclear weapons, bigger than Obama or Hillary or McCain is Islam and more specifically the Koran. Of course for a Jew who understands that Mohammed substituted Ishmael for Yitzchak at the Akeida, the Koran is made up, no less than Disneyworld, but the reality is that you have over a billion meshuganas ready to murder others to defend the Koran and not just to defend it, but to force it down the world's collective throat. This is reality not fiction. It used to be absurd for me to consider that Christianity held that those who do not embrace Yashke are condemned to Gehinnom. Were they including all of the Buddhists and Muslims? And I believed that such people were a bunch of meshuganas, but they weren't proposing to blow up the world, so I figured live and let live. But, that is not the situation with Islam, it is not a live and let live religion and never has been, despite bright moments from time to time. When someone rails against something, that is their right, but it is not their right to force it on the rest of the world. That is the operative philosophy of Islam, which makes it so dangerous. The sooner the West weans itself off of Middle Eastern Oil, the sooner that the West can tackle the terrible danger that it faces and that is Islam and the Koran. To say that it is only radical Moslems beggars the question. Because even 200 million or more radical Moslems can do a great deal of damage to the world and they are doing a great deal of damage to the world, make no mistakes about that. All anybody has to do is do a google of the Koran and add the word knife, death, etc. By doing that the reader will discover that this benign religion teaches hatred, intolerance, and death to infidels. Comparing it to Mein Kampf is not a bad idea after all. But it does not compare to any other religion, not in google, not in reality. As we say, maaser hu ha ikkur. It's actions are its' essence. That a Moslem media apologizes is remarkable, but does not change the raw facts. To paraphrase Craig Wynn, a good Moslem is a bad citizen and a bad Moslem is a good citizen. That speaks volumes because Moslem preaches domination, hatred and intolerance. To deny Islam's toxic essence is as wishful thinking as mourning the days of 25 cent gasoline!
