"Task Force Troy"Reader comment on item: The Gulf War. Vol. 4 of The Lessons of Modern War Submitted by George E. Kernaghan, EO-3 NMCB-24 1990-91 (United States), Dec 6, 2003 at 16:10 I am George Kernaghan, and served as an EO-3 ( equipment operator 3rd class ) with Navy Mobile Construction Battalion 24 Seabees during DS/DS in 90-91. As a driver of a 20 ton semi tractor/trailor to deliver supplies to the forward areas near the Kuwait border, our convoy encountered aggressive unknown arab forces and was ambushed near Abrac Al Kibrit. I am actively searching for anyone who has knowledge of, or was on a "convoy" , that came under enemy fire between Christmas and New Years of 90-91.
