You're anything but boring, JulesReader comment on item: The [Suicide] Jihad Menace Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Sep 11, 2008 at 17:28 Hello Jules - I agree with you. Science is interesting, as well as all the different religions throughout history. As with science, I like to try and find absolutes in religion as well. For instance: all religion, since the beginning of man, involves a "god", or "gods", or some kind of deity that it's followers seek to impress and gain the approbation of through their own works. Except Biblical Christianity. I've studied the Bible in it's original languages (Greek, Hebrew, and a little Aramaic in the Old Testament) for 30+ years, under the instruction of a pastor who has taught the Bible from these languages for 50+ years. So again, ALL RELIGION, throughout history, involves humankind seeking approbation of God through mankind's works - be it charity, self-denile; or, such violent acts such as human sacrifice. ECCEPT Biblical Christianity as taught according to the original languages (mankind gains God's approval only through beliefe in His Son, Jesus Christ). This is an absolute. Another absolute, so far as my research has revealed, is that no religion other than Islam teaches that to kill an "unbeliever" results in "Allah's favor", and guarenteed "Paradise" (along with 70-72 virgins). Strange that these two "absolutes", for the first time on such a large scale, have come up against each other during our current time. Keep up with you studies - NEVER let teachers' critique deter you from your ambitions!!!!!!!!
