In my opinion, Muslims are not free agents in so far Islam is concerned. Let them demand liberal democracy in Saudi Arabia and Iran. This is the acid test for them. Let them also clarify how Islam views other faiths. Why the Human Rights records are so poor in Islamic/Muslim countries?
