feasibilty of exporting a healthy democracyReader comment on item: Exporting Democracy Submitted by Nadine Mazraani (Germany), Dec 28, 2008 at 11:00 what does the United States of America gain from exporting democracy? The results in Iraq are not promising and I see how much the US had to sacrifice to spread democracy there-sort of a mission impossible-and then ended up in that quackmire And what about considering certain aspects in applying democracies to other countries that differ from the US in their history with democracy-if any-,tradition,culture,values and norms which Dahl had highlighted in his book How Democratic Is the American Constitution?
