We're all in DutchReader comment on item: A Dutch Fissure in the Leftist-Islamist Alliance Submitted by Peter Herz (United States), Jan 5, 2009 at 14:15 Shall I break outr in "Wilhelmus van Nassouwe/ben ick van duytschen bloet/den vaderland getrouwe..."? No. The preciousness of homosexual marriage, casual blasphemy, anti-Western multiculturalism, and all other banes of modern life to the Dutch Left means that were Wilhelmus van Nassouw, Piet Hein, Philippus Marnix van Sint Aldegonde, or any of the great heroes who brought us an independent Netherlands were to rise from their graves to walk the modern streets of Amsterdam or Leiden, they would be arrested for hate speech or something like that. Maybe the Netherlands--and other liberal states--will respons to Ploumen to redefine "criminality" so it does not refer to its multicultural clients. Murder will no longer be murder if it is done in defense of a minority culture; rape will not be rape if it is anal and performed on a male.
