The Nation of Islam is safe, the question should be, "Is America going to survive?"

Reader comment on item: Will the Nation of Islam Disappear?

Submitted by Ilia Rashad (United States), Jan 23, 2009 at 12:21

The NOI has never depended on the approval of anyone or any mainstream entity for its validation or rise to prominence. The rise of the NOI has always been due to its reliance of God and its grassrooted work in Black communities throughout America. Despite the U.S. Government's continous and diligent efforts to subvert this group, the NOI remains the only group of Black people that is not compromised by the mainstream American establishment. Unlike Mr. Pipe's uninformed analysis, the NOI will become more relevant and necessary in American society as black on black crime, drug abuse, mis-education, prostitution, and poverty continue to plague the Black Community. ...he should ask, "Will America Disappear?" since America seems to be suffering socially, economically, politically, and internationally.
