Loyalty of Arabs living in IsraelReader comment on item: Who Won in Israel's Elections? Submitted by Janusz Kowalik (United States), Feb 11, 2009 at 18:59 I think that Lieberman is right demanding from Arabs living in Israel loyalty if they wish to enjoy full citizenship. The same should be rerquired from all immigrants who wish to live in a different country than the country of their ancestors. For example if an Arab or a person of aof any other nationality than British wants to settle in UK he or she should promise loyalty to UK and make every effort to absorb the culture of this country including langauge . If this is not required many european countries will be a collections of totally iunrelated groups of people who are not together for any purpose except well paid jobs and decent standard of living. For example, If several million of Turks live in Germany only because they want to earn good wages and take advantage of this country welfare system then they should not be entitled to being fully fledged citizens who vote and can be elected. This principle is extremely important for small countries such as Israel, Denmark, Norway,or Sweden .
