Burqa as a security threat

Dear Dr Pipes,

In lot sof countries of the world, burqa is omni-present on the streets. It is now finding its way into the western cities also. I have seen burqa clad women in London, Paris, and in many US cities. Thanks a lot for raising the issue of burqa as a security threat. Please do not let this issue die. Will the society tolerate it if on a given day a large number of people decide to present themselves in ski masks? Most likely not. No matter how noble the intentions behind burqa are, it is a tool in the hands of bad guys. It is our social obligation to not disguise ourselves in public places. Burqa should be banned in all public places.
