You expect Israelis to tolerate life there because their corrupt and supine political leaders do?Reader comment on item: Bar Refaeli – New Symbol of the "Good Israeli"? Submitted by James Burke (Canada), Mar 1, 2009 at 12:24 I am only surprised that anyone is shocked by this. I am not one to judge or rate the patriotism of Israelis to their country shile they see their friends, family memebrs going to wars their political leaders refuse to do what is necessary to end these wars and use their boys like missiles ( ie, Jenin). Only Israel contacts terrorists at their homes before bombing. WOW blowing up furniture will really result in Israelis living in security. When they are not bombing terrorists they are making their hospitals available to them. Do any of your readers wish to live in an 1984 eurasia oceana endless war? I think not. It is hard to tell an Israeli to die for their country while many of their political leaders are making financial deals that are never discussed openly. The political leaders who are very well paid are not innocent when it comes to Israel's never ending war situation.
