Two State Solution - Hah!

Reader comment on item: Saudi Scholar Nixes Biofuels as Un-Islamic

A two state 'solution' ( like Hitler's 'final solution' ) is nothing less than ceding victory to the very enemies whose sworn goal is to annihilate the Jewish state. Given any form of Islamic state Palestinians will be 'legally' endowed with the rights of any state - to arm militarily and to strengthen themselves with loans and explicit international recognition - benefits they don't enjoy now.

There is another option in addition to those that Dr. Pipes mentions.

This means taking a firm stance and announcing to the world - especially to the UN - that the Jewish state has grown up and will chart her ouwn course. Israel can no longer expect much in the way of support from the US, whose leftist government has neither the funds nor the will to help. Even the Bush administration refused to give Israel the weapons needed to dispose of iran's nuclear ambitions.

If Jews around the world could be made to understand the severity of the modern problem, it would be possible to break away from dependence on the US, and would enable Israel to begin taking charge of her own destiny. Increased, even massive immigration of Jews and their capital from the Islamicizing West would include a final annexation of the West Bank and Gaza, which should have been done in 1967. This would of course mean turning inward, and serving a final notice to the world that the so-called Palestinians are NOT the problem of Israel....and that it is now up to the surrounding Islamic states to look after their own. After the howls of protest and the ever increasing condemnation dies down, the matter would soon be put finally to rest - to the benefit of all. Let Israel be more than The Mouse That Roared; let the lion of Judah roar.

And the best man to begin voicing this process is Netanyahu.
