Gareedat La - Kholekna Lena3taredReader comment on item: Neopatriarchy: A Theory of Distorted Change in Arab Society Submitted by Illidan Stormrage, the legend (Egypt), Mar 30, 2009 at 08:48 ... Sharabi's message never aimed at defaming the Middle Eastern countries' governments; they do not all commit 'barbarities in the name of fundamentalist Islam'. That is a clear misconception for what the real point of the book is, which is to demonstrate an incapability from Arab Societies to effectively improve from being Patriarchal into a different form which encourages equality among the sexes.
