Reader comment on item: Moderate Muslims Slam CAIR, Congratulate the FBI

Submitted by agn (Norway), Apr 7, 2009 at 12:45

Why should we assume that this new group is truly moderate? Muslims do not deserve the epithet "moderate" unless they unilaterally condemn their Prophet's many misdeeds, for example ordering the beheading of tens of banu qurayza boys who were unfortunate enough to have grown a few pubic hairs.

As long as Muslim groups do NOT engage in such morally obligatory acts of house-cleaning, one is entitled to read this event as follows:

Because CAIR now has lost the credibility in FBI, a new Muslim group mushrooms in order to take its place, and continue a cleverer line of obfuscation.

CAIR has become a liability for the "spread of Islam", so a new group comes forth to further that glorious goal more effectively.
