Seculars supporting Indian Islamist terroristsReader comment on item: Non-Muslims Who Help Islamist Terrorists Submitted by S.N.Hebbar (India), Apr 19, 2009 at 09:00 In india, it has become a fashion for all non-right parties to support Muslims even if they are terrorists just for the sake of getting their votes wholesale in elections. They support fanatics among Muslims because they think they are leaders of Muslims eventhough Muslims themselves don't think so. Paradoxically the word "secularism" which was thrust into the Constitution of the country during dictatorial period of Indira Gandhi during 1975-77 emergency days, has been interpreted by non-right parties to mean appeasement of Muslims and Christians and demonising Hindus.
