Glad for America.Reader comment on item: Standing with Steven J. Rosen Submitted by batya dagan (United States), May 5, 2009 at 18:12 I call Rosen and Weisman two American Dreyfuses .We had some in the past . We have Jonathan Pollard who fits this category in some way -sitting in jail for far too long for spying for a friendly country ,while others who spied for an enemy country were released after a short stay in Jail. The crime Rosen and Weisman committed was being Jewish and nothing else. We know that we cannot stem anti- Semitism completely but when it is exercised by our government it make us cringe. It make us want to cry. The thought that in the US a Jew can be in danger for being one is too hard to swallow. That we here will revive the miserable memories of the Dreyfus case in France is too much to bear. I am glad that this injustice finally came to end, not so much for the two wonderful innocent guys, but for America.
