Assalamu Alaykum Angel

Im glad to hear you have some Muslim friends and family and hope they are setting a good example for my religion. No doubt if they are doing good things then they will not make the headlines but maybe it may touch the hearts of the people in their lives.

With regards to christianising the world, I think this is definitely an agenda. Why do christians send missions to africa and asia? Why do they try to spread their message? Why is this ok but not ok for muslims to do the same? It is haram (Forbidden) to force someone into islam, but I see no problem with peacefully spreading the message and if the world did become Muslim the world would be in a much better shape.

Christianity WAS spread by the sword. Look at how it reached latin america and look at how it reached africa. Forced conversions are rampant in christianities past. Does this mean we shoudl condemn christianity, or condemn the individuals who did such actions? Let us not forget the gruesome crusades where women and children were massacred and also the protestant/cathlolic wars and the oppresion of western scientists by the state such as galileo.

Hindu's burn their brides when there are problems with dowaries. All religions have bad people, but we should all aggree that these bad people do not follow the religion. Recently we had attacks in UK from the IRA (A catholic "terrorist" group) and lets not forget the united states of Israel which is the worst terrorist organisation in the world.

I agree that I must educate any muslims who feel angry at teh west. But we must also look at WHY many muslims hate the west. Support dictators, providing wepaonry for wars, stealing resources, promoting "democracy/capitalism" which only allows the contiued poverty of third world countries. The west has a lot of blood on its hands and only when the world is restored to peace and order will the violence stop and so I can do things from my side but it is the terrible injustices that are fuelling these kids into violence. How do you think the kids growing up in gaza will feel about israel? What about the afghani children regarding americans?
