Netanyahu has no word to keep

Reader comment on item: Will Netanyahu Keep His Word?

Submitted by yuval Brandstetter MD (Israel), Jul 7, 2009 at 00:42

Netayahu is a modern leader, and no modern leader is beholden to anything he might have uttered during his election campaign. Obama being the quintessential modern leader actually said nothing, promised nothing in grand rhetoric, and thus his approval rating remains high.

Bibi has one goal, and one goal only, to survive media excoriation untill such time as he can give the order to blow up the iranian Nuclear plants, following which nothing else matters, since that will send ball rolling. So pay no attention to the man on the stage, its the aircraft and submarines that will speak louder than words. Even Joe Biden is resigned to that fact.
