re: Eddie's comment about we had it coming to usReader comment on item: "The American Muslim" and Islamist Intentions for the United States Submitted by AmWiser (United States), Aug 31, 2009 at 09:34 Eddie your comment on how we Americans have it coming to us is an excellent demonstration on blanket generalization and stereotype of cultural activity. There must be some term applied to this (if there is I don't know what it is) whereby an entire people is being punished today for the perceptions/ misperceptions of actions of their ancestors. How do you know the Indians weren't doing exactly the same thing that Hamas does whenever a truce is made with Israel-- by permitting rockets to be launched into Israel /not controlling rogue elements in their society to wage war during an agreed upon truce? And once you realize that this was the case, how many white people should have been killed (during times of truce) because they were trying to build a community without the threat of constant attempts by rogue Indian warriors kidnapping a stray hunter or tiptoeing up for a sneak attack?
