Identifying the Disease

I agree, the disease must be identified in order to treat it. But I believe the disease is Israeli-style ethnic cleansing and their sub-human treatment of Palestinians. Of course, Israel has created the largest refugee community in the world, and they are still not satisfied with the 78% of Palestine that they have largely stolen (although they legitimately owned some of it). It's not rocket science that ethnic cleansing makes people really upset. No wonder, that Israel is one of the most detested countries in the world. It is a shame that the US finances it to the degree that it does. By supporting a racist (religiously-fascist) state, we are also sullied in the eyes of the world and perceived as supporters of state terrorism.

I suspect that after a decade of stupid policies, we will wake up - fiscally broke, militarily fatigued, and politically disillusioned. But we will have realized one thing - Israel is not our friend. Then we can heal....
