We are The Fourth ReichReader comment on item: Today vs. 1935: Hyperbole or Prescience? Submitted by John (Canada), Nov 1, 2009 at 13:12 Let's see...As I recall history the Nazis bombed the civilian community of Guernica in Spain and invaded several small countries under the pretext of protecting human rights. That sounds more like The US and Israel than it does Iran. Which countries has Iran bombed, invaded and militarily occupied? 911 was like the Reichtag Fire. It provided a pretext for rolling back civil liberties, instituting Guantanamo, attacking Iraq and Afghanistan, sanctioning torture and so on. With the military-industrial-media-pharmaceutical-oil complex controlled by big money which largely determines who is in Congress and the White House and Parliament, and seeing the outrageous proportion of the national treasuries devoted to arms, we are nearing totalitarianism. It is not too late to stop it. All it needs is a paradigm shift in consciousness so people will withold their consent for the simple, despotic panacea that is being offered. Islam in the world today is akin to Judaism in the period leading up to WW2. Indefinite imprisonment without charges and without trial for muslims in the US and Canada is indicative of this.
