TiZA is illegally receiving Pubic Education Funding!Reader comment on item: Tarek ibn Ziyad Academy – An Islamist Charter School in Minnesota? Submitted by Stop (United States), Nov 13, 2009 at 00:52 Using the same arguments posed by TiZA officials, then all Catholic and Lutheran Schools should receive Public Education Dollars as well. Catholic schools accept those of other faiths. You don't have to participate in prayers. The culture of Catholic and Lutheran education is centered around their religious belief systems: honor, respect, faith, modest dress. TiZA should have never been approved as a Charter School in the first place! They are no different than any other religious based school and students/families should be paying tuition just like the rest of those choosing a faith based education for their children.
