Reader comment on item: Newsweek's "Periscope" Gets It Wrong

Submitted by Pat (United States), Dec 26, 2009 at 18:47

After much thought and many years of subscription to Newsweek, I have discovered the problem. Newsweek's name is misspelled. It is NOT Newsweek, but NEWSWEAK.

There is neither news nor integrity in any of the weekly "news" magazines. I no longer subscribe to any, except for Newsweak. And the reason I subscribe to Newsweak is because about five years ago they offered me a six year subscription for a really ridiculously low price. Thus it expires in about a year. But in the meantime, there is seldom news and absolutely NO independent opinions, except for George Will and he is a lone voice in a wilderness of overt criminal stupidity and hubris.

Oh and the fact that they no longer employ real journalists has had a profound effect on what little quality had been left.

Integrity is a word no longer in their lexicon. News is made up to fit the prevailing "liberal" mantra.
