Reader comment on item: Am I Helping the Terrorist Enemy?

Submitted by Nick4693 (Japan), Dec 30, 2009 at 21:38

I, too, have thought the very same thing!

I scoff at the sometimes childish things that Muslim terrorists do, yet wonder if perhaps I am undermining the efforts to thwart their tactics, and providing them with better instructions.

For instance, take the ruling not to allow passengers to bring on board a plane any kind of liquid, the implication being that liquid can be mixed with some other substance and create an explosive.

True, but there's plenty of liquid aboard the plane to begin with, readily available to one and all from the airline stewardess or in the toilet, plus we already take onboard a certain amount when we first get on the plane -- urine!
