Al Jazeera in Canada.

The facts of the matter are clear. Al Jazeera plays the part of the 5th estate to the extent that it should. It is the only news channel that DOES NOT close it's eyes and ears to an opinion simply because that opinion is an ugly or distasteful one. The purpose of "news" is to bring us "The news", wherever it is, as ugly as it is. Last I heard the filtering of events for the "good of the people" is what has lead North Korean children to think the average American is a blood thirsty barbarian. Al Jazeera's honest reporting of all things taboo or not, is what journalism and freedom of speech and the right to knowledge are all about. ...
