I've thrown in the towel trying to understand Islam and Muslims

Faisal Shazad is the tipping point for me. Islam in America must be confronted head-on. Terrorism is frightening but the slow creep of Islamist ideology is even more frightening. There is nothing funny about this guy's incompetence. "Mainstream Muslims" do pitifully little to assuage our growing fears about their true allegiances. The notion that Shari'ah or any other system of Islamic belief/custom can take hold and become part of life here in America must be eradicated. Islam and the West are incompatible and we need to roll back the clock on our enemies.
