Not allowed to return?Reader comment on item: Hafiz al-Asad and Me Submitted by Jeff (United States), Jun 11, 2010 at 13:13 My memory must be failing, I just don't remember any protests or anger when Dr. Pipes was not allowed entry into Syria. If only you could get yourself banned from entering Israel, Dr. Pipes, then you'd have the media and world leaders angry and completely on your side. Noam Chomsky may be able to advise you on this. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Interesting thought - how un-newsworthy it seems when a dictatorship bans one. You are right about Israel. I will look into getting myself banned from there, pronto! Reader comments (12) on this item
