Kuwait was annexed from Iraq folowing a geological survey by the British and the Americans. King Faisal of Kuwait was paid a fee to agree for Kuwait to be annexes a crown prince was then put on the throne of Kuwait. The colonial powers were in business to exploit Kuwait of its resources.
