Egypt declared war against Israel:

Last week the Egyptian Gov. issued a statement that it , and the Arab world, will never accept Israel as the Jewish State.

Recall that in 1948 , Egypt and six other Arab countries attacked Israel. The Arabs
simply did not accept the creation of the Jewish state.

The Egyptian declaration, last week, puts an end to the 1979 Egypt–Israel Peace Treaty.
