Who Is The One?

I am amazed after reading the comments on this article that anyone could possibly think that Kerry could do a better job in Iraq.

Kerry's support base is split between centralist and liberal Democrats and leftwing activists. Kerry would be under great pressure to withdraw from Iraq by his own supporters and would have to act within the first six months of his Presidency or lose their support.

If he doesn't pull out, then he would at least have to set a date for withdrawal. This will work to the advantage of the terrorist insurgents and give them leverage to put even more pressure on the US.

The most staunch supporters of US troops in Iraq are right wing. Kerry will not have their support and he will become the most unpopular President in US history. We are headed for a disaster if Kerry is elected this November.
