Facebook and FactoriesReader comment on item: In History, a Template for Egypt's Future? Submitted by Jay1 (United States), Feb 4, 2011 at 20:46 One of the things that may distinguish Egypts comming change, is that it has the Iran example, and the problems that Algeria faced, to look back and learn from. Egypt can see what not to allow.Whether Egyptians see that light will be of hopeful concern. America has a light and lesson to learn from too. When you have an imperfect friend like Hosni Mubarak, prod an imperfect friend in the right direction. In Americas drive that looks for profitable labor and engaging thought ,US companies can play a role under the encouraged guise of the State Department. China is such an example. India too.Offering an enriching helping hand led by free enterprise can bear fruit. The interaction of foward education, ones company, and merit excellence is a winning hand vs chanting arcane slogans.Democracy of both sexes tends to follow as a happy expression of more. Reasonable Islam, like reasonable Christianity, reasonable Judaism and reasonable Hindu checks the excesses, and then the courts check the religion. It is in a steady 20mph as Dr Pipes suggest. A new doctrine to behold in that part of the world (save Israel). Participating with a country like Egypt in a noticeable economic change through our corporations. For our sake and theirs. With democracy barely a pace behind. Facebook and factories. But no new nuke countries allowed upon graduation.
