Dr. Pipes:-

Surely it is more accurate to characterise Qatar as playing both sides in the present Middle Eastern Cold War, rather than being squarely in the Iran-led 'resistance bloc'? After all, Qatar hosts CENTCOM and still has some diplomatic ties with Israel.
