Turkey's regression

Reader comment on item: Turkey's Ironic Electoral System

Submitted by NuritG (United States), Jun 14, 2011 at 03:40

If the Turkish people are so stupid to regress from their modern society Mustafa Kemal Atatürk worked so hard to achieve, back to the 7th century Islamofascist sharia law society, then the deserve all that is coming to them, i.e. the freedom they knew will vanish as the melted ice. Sadly, by Turkey joining Iran's axis of evil it will affect the order and balance of the entire free world. I sincerely hope that the West will recognize that Turkey may no longer be a reliable ally, may not be fit to be a member of NATO.
