Support for IsraelReader comment on item: Florida for Israel Submitted by p. schwartz (United States), Jul 12, 2011 at 22:17 This article is very heartening and encouraging. It demonstrates how two individual US states, Florida and South Carolina, are supportive of Israel in its quest for survival and democracy. In Florida, there is wall to wall support for Israel from the Governor on down. In South Carolina, they even went so far as to publicly criticize Obama's policy statement of may 19,in which he called for a retreat to the 1967 lines as a starting point for negotiations, when everyone knows these lines are indefensible. So it is clear that Obama is not supportive of Israel's security altho he talks costantly about the "unshakeable bond" between the two nations. Not sincere and not to be believed. The reason he has not done more damage than he has done is because of the very strong support of the Congress. We are grateful for that.
