Laugh or cry...

I really don't know whether to laugh at the misconception the west has of Islam and their gullibility in believing anything the media throws at them without ever feeling the need to get substantial facts, or cry at the poor situation we Muslims are in these days!

Why is Islam so... so... "hated"? "misjudged"? I am at odds as to which word to use. It is like there is some global ant-Islamic war going on. It is like "beware of Islam". Why? is it because it is different? is it because we don't understand Muslims!

I invite you all to buy a translation of the Quran and read it to your hearts content and I promise you you will not find anything but a peaceful religion that asks its followers to be kind, merciful, understanding ...

... I mean if If my father studies with someone and he turns out to be a bad apple how could you possibly accuse me of anything!! If this logic holds true then half of should be prison or something!

A lot of people in the world think that violence is a solution. India killed hundreds of thousands when Pakistan separated!! Israel obliterated thousands of Palestinian villages in its oppression!! The USA killed off hundreds thousands red Indians! it also exposed its uncivilized inner-self in Iraq...

Buddhism... Judaism... Christianity... never got tagged as a terrorist religion... because we know that those religions do NOT consent to such actions but that the are completely against it!

Why then are we so unfair in the case of Islam? Why are we quick to judge... we will believe anything bad said about it. I implore you.. next time someone rants against Islam stop by the closest Islamic center and ask someone to separate fact from fiction... ask about Islam not someone at the other side of the world who claims he is a Muslim.... Ask what Islam thinks of terrorism not what the Taleban government thinks!
