Europa en de Wereld-Europe and the WorldReader comment on item: Qaddafi's Daughter Hana Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Sep 7, 2011 at 19:23 Hana Qaddafi might just be the poster child of 'victim' Libya, a jaded observation to say the least, especially if in fact it is true she does live after the infamy perpetrated by her sire. The early aspirations of Muammar Qaddafi demonstrated to the world just what an out of control arrogant oligarchic mentality can present as a threat to the rest of a world that never really understood Qaddafi's role in world politics. Were he really understood then, then the issues faced today would have been dealt with appropriately and Hana might never have appeared on the scene and be used for propaganda against the west. But as can be seen, the lessons there were never learned and the world is about to pay for it again. It is suggested by others that Hana be allowed to live a life separate from her curious past; and in this opinion there is the inclination to agree if she has separated herself from the ignominy and past of her sire. Maintaining the same last name however, suggests that such a separation is not going to be easy. As to the exportation of the Islamic Jihadist mentality to Europa, I am not sure how that relates to Hana, except that her name does impute a certain connection that as Islam is being absorbed there so quickly, issues of assimilation are indeed a very real concern to the EU and associated NATO alliances. It is noted here again that for reasons better stated elsewhere by others, the people of the Nederland seem to have their plate quite full as the whole thing plays itself out.
