Which tribe was the "Koreish" or "Quraysh", the Muslims or the Jews?Reader comment on item: Arafat and the Treaty of Hudaybiya - The Controversy Submitted by Wallace Edward Brand (United States), Mar 26, 2012 at 21:44 In this update, everyone seems to use the term Koreish or Quraysh to designate the Jewish tribe. However I have been told by others that it was Mohammed's tribe that was named Quraysh, and the Jewish tribe was named Qurayza. Does Dr. Pipes or anyone else know the answer as to which is correct?
